The Novaliches link of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) has reached 96% completion and is nearing its opening, according to NLEX Corp.
The two-kilometer elevated road is expected to accommodate at least 11,000 vehicles daily and provide an alternative route to Novaliches via Quirino Highway.
The project aims to reduce travel time and fuel costs by allowing motorists to bypass Mindanao Avenue.
NLEX Corp. is completing the ramps, concrete barriers, and other remaining works before opening the segment.
The company will then proceed with the next phases, extending the NLEX-C5 Northlink to Regalado Avenue and Congressional Avenue in Quezon City.
