LTFRB CALLS ON E-COMMERCE PLATFORMS TO SUBMIT DELIVERY RECORDS

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has ordered Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, TikTok Shop, and SM Retail to submit records of their truck-for-hire service partners within three working days.

LTFRB acting Chairman Greg Pua Jr. said the move aims to identify and eliminate illegal delivery operators.

The agency warned that unauthorized delivery services may face vehicle impoundment and fines of up to ₱200,000 per unit.

The LTFRB said these illegal operations pose road safety risks and create unfair competition for legitimate operators.
