NEW DIPLOMATIC AND GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENTS BY MARCOS

President Marcos has appointed new ambassadors to several countries, including Antonio Morales to Australia (with concurrent jurisdiction over Nauru, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu) and Mardomel Celo Melicor to Qatar. 

Domingo Nolasco was named ambassador to Finland, Nina Cainglet to Bangladesh (with concurrent jurisdiction over Sri Lanka and Maldives), and Adrian Bernie Candolada to Colombia (with concurrent jurisdiction over Ecuador and Venezuela). 

Additionally, Marcos appointed Mary Ann Maestral as undersecretary of the Department of Health, Irene Dumlao as assistant secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Ermelita Valdeavilla as chair of the Philippine Commission on Women. 

Carlitos Ceniza and Mary Rose Villaflor were named assistant secretaries of the National Anti-Poverty Commission, while Nannette Villamor-Dinopol was appointed deputy administrator of the Maritime Industry Authority. 

The appointments were announced by the Presidential Communications Office on Facebook yesterday.
