Piolo Pascual, one of the Philippines’ most enduring and bankable actors, remains focused on his career, saying, “My love life is my career,” and prioritizing work over personal matters.
He maintains his fitness through daily exercise, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and faith, while continuously seeking challenging roles to improve his craft.
Pascual recently discussed his newest Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Manila’s Finest, set in 1969, noting the differences in social life before modern technology and the rigorous preparation for his role as a policeman.
Despite earlier hesitations about MMFF projects, he has participated in four consecutive entries from 2023 to 2025, embracing the opportunity to portray diverse characters.
He emphasized being a lifelong student of acting, working with mentors and collaborators to deliver authentic performances that keep audiences engaged.
