The MVP Sports Foundation (MVPSF) has pledged continued support for Philippine athletes competing in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Recently, MVPSF, in partnership with PLDT, awarded PHP21 million to Filipino medalists from the Paris Olympics, including PHP10 million to gymnast Carlos Yulo and PHP2 million each to boxers Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio.
Yulo received his check personally from MVPSF chairman emeritus Manny Pangilinan, while the athletes’ coaching staff also received cash prizes.
Pangilinan expressed pride in the athletes’ achievements and commitment to backing them in future competitions.
MVPSF president Al Panlilio emphasized that the foundation will maintain its support to inspire more Filipino athletes and encourage further investment in sports.
