MERALCO BATTLES NEW TAIPEI FOR FINAL FOUR SPOT IN EASL

Meralco Bolts face the New Taipei Kings on Wednesday for the last semifinal slot in the East Asia Super League (EASL) Season 2.

A win would create a three-way tie in Group B, but Meralco holds the advantage due to a superior quotient.

The Bolts may play without import Akil Mitchell, who is nursing injuries, putting extra pressure on DJ Kennedy, Ange Kouame, and Chris Newsome.

New Taipei is also missing NBA veteran Jeremy Lin, though his brother Joseph Lin and Kenny Manigault will lead the hosts.

Meanwhile, San Miguel Beer aims to end its EASL campaign on a high note against Suwon KT Sonicboom despite missing stars June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez.
