Mayor Joy Belmonte was conferred the World Integrity Prize, recognizing her as the “Person of Sincere Anti-Corruption Integrity” by the Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF).
In addition to this distinguished honor, Mayor Belmonte was also bestowed the Digital Asset Award and appointed as Adviser to the International Digital Asset Committee.
These accolades affirm her exemplary and transparent governance in the local administration of Quezon City.
Furthermore, she formalized the partnership between Quezon City and the ACCMGF by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening collaborative efforts.
The awarding ceremony was graced by ACCMGF Central Representative Chairman Dr. Francisco L. Villanueva, Jr. and Quezon City University President Dr. Theresita Atienza.
