In a recent podcast interview, Marcos reiterated that personal ties will not shield underperforming officials from being removed.
He drew comparisons to the military, where failure to deliver leads to immediate relief from duty, and stressed that the government must adopt the same strict standards.
Following his earlier call for courtesy resignations, Marcos confirmed that performance reviews are ongoing and more leadership changes are expected.
While several Cabinet officials were retained, key figures, including the Environment Secretary and Solicitor General, have already stepped down.
