President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the crucial role of the Presidential Airlift Wing in helping the government respond to disasters and reach affected communities.
Speaking at the 58th anniversary of the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing in Pasay City, Marcos said the unit enabled him to visit flood-hit areas in Tarlac, Zambales and Pampanga.
He said the wing provides more than transportation by helping bring government assistance to people affected by floods, earthquakes and other disasters.
Marcos described the unit as a “multiplier effect” and praised its discipline and teamwork in carrying out missions.
He urged its personnel to continue serving with skill and to uphold the nation’s trust.
