Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is hosting a major celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic “Thrilla in Manila” between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
The week-long event will feature a boxing card at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, headlined by two world title fights with Filipino contenders.
A gala dinner will take place at the Okada Manila Hotel on October 1, the anniversary date, with boxing greats like Bob Arum, Don King, and former champions expected to attend.
The event, which includes the return of the TV show “Blow By Blow,” aims to cement the Philippines’ legacy in global sports.
Pacquiao’s son, Jimuel, could make his professional debut on this historic occasion.
