The Balance Project PHI held its inaugural gymnastics camp from March 20-22 at LTSA Makati, launching a youth-driven initiative to support grassroots sports in the Philippines.
15-year-old high-performance gymnast Sabina Estelle Tayag, a member of the Philippine Junior National Team, founded the project.
Thirteen artistic gymnasts from Laoag City attended the three-day camp to refine routines and train with proper equipment under coaches George Kostadinov, Alex Tolentino, JM Labang, and Sid Tayag.
This marks the project’s first large-scale initiative, following earlier training programs for selected gymnasts from Batangas City.
Sabina hopes to expand The Balance Project PHI to support athletes in other sports and build partnerships with organizations sharing her vision of youth empowerment through sports.
