On September 12, Lola Amour held a press conference ahead of their “Love on Loop” album concert in Makati City, where they received a surprise Diamond Record Award from Warner Music Philippines.
The band, known for blending modern rock, funk, and pop, was recognized for their hit songs “Fallen” and “Raining in Manila,” which have become anthems for a generation.
“Raining in Manila” topped Spotify Philippines and gained international attention, with artists like Jake from Enhypen, BamBam, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin covering or performing the song.
Celine Ferros, Warner Music Philippines’ general manager, praised the band for their cultural impact on OPM.
The award celebrates Lola Amour’s growing influence and success in the Filipino music scene.
