LLOVER DOMINATES WITH KNOCKOUT WIN; CASIMERO BOUNCES BACK IN JAPAN

Undefeated Kenneth Llover retained his OPBF bantamweight title after knocking out Chinese fighter Ayati Sailike in the second round on Dec. 27 at the Aichi Sky Expo in Japan.

Llover floored Sailike twice, finishing him with a powerful left hook, improving his record to 17-0 with 12 knockouts.

The 22-year-old prospect, ranked in the top 10 by the IBF, WBC, and WBA, is now positioning himself for a potential world title shot.

Also in Japan, John Riel Casimero bounced back from a recent loss with a fifth-round stoppage of Tom Mizokoshi, landing decisive hooks that prompted the referee to halt the fight.

Casimero improved his record to 35-5-1 with 24 knockouts, showing renewed form after his October defeat.
