Al Tristan Licayan secured his spot in the semifinals of the President’s Cup Masters after winning two elimination matches in Group B.
He defeated Troan John David Vytiangco 6-0, 6-0, and Rain Ninal 6-1, 6-1. Gavin Kraut also advanced after wins over Ninal and Vytiangco.
In Group A, Shaun Apoll Globosa triumphed over Pete Rafael Bandala and Julio Ynigo Naredo.
The tournament is part of the 2025 Palawan Pawnshop National Tennis Championships, honoring Philta president Mayor Eric Olivarez.
