Lanao del Norte has successfully upgraded the Mindanao Civic Center (MCC) football field to meet FIFA’s rigorous international standards.
Governor Imelda Dimaporo celebrated the achievement, noting that the upgraded facility will help nurture local athletic talent, attract tourism, and boost economic growth.
The state-of-the-art pitch, installed by E-Sports International, features FIFA-approved materials that ensure superior performance and safety.
Key features include a rapid water drainage system and enhanced cushioning to reduce impact stress and improve player safety.
This milestone positions Lanao del Norte as a potential host for both local and international sporting events.
