College of Saint Benilde rallied after losing the first set to defeat Letran, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17, in Game 1 of the Shakey’s Super League National Invitationals bronze medal series at Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
Clydel Catarig led the charge with 22 attacks, supported by Wielyn Estoque’s 15 points from nine attacks, three blocks, and three service aces for the Lady Blazers.
Rhea Mae Densing added 11 attacks and one block. After a semifinal loss, CSB aimed to bounce back, spurred by Coach Jerry Yee’s guidance.
They now look to secure the bronze medal with another victory over Letran in the next match.
