Jericho Cruz was named the PBA Press Corps Finals MVP after leading San Miguel Beer to a Philippine Cup title.
San Miguel secured the championship with a 107-96 win in Game 6 at Philsports Arena on Friday night.
Cruz averaged 14 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists over the first five games of the finals series.
In the title-clinching game, he contributed 13 points, six assists, and four rebounds.
This is Cruz’s first Finals MVP award and his fourth PBA championship, with three of those coming as a San Miguel player.
