The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will see adjustments to service fees starting this year, primarily affecting airlines operating at the gateway.
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista confirmed plans for increased landing and takeoff fees by the end of 2024, shortly after NAIA’s operations were privatized.
Passenger service charges (PSC) are also set to rise by 2025. These fee adjustments are detailed in an administrative order (AO) being reviewed by a committee under the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
The proposed AO outlines escalating fees over 20 years under private management, aimed at covering investments by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp., led by San Miguel Corp., which will assume management of NAIA from September onwards.
