Senator Imee Marcos urged SSS, GSIS, PAG-IBIG, and PhilHealth to temporarily suspend collections to ease the financial burden on Filipinos.
She is also pushing for a loan moratorium amid rising fuel prices and higher costs of basic goods.
Marcos said workers, farmers, fisherfolk, and small business owners are among those hardest hit by the ongoing energy crisis.
She called on the agencies to provide payment relief and release full wages so citizens can cope with the rising cost of living.
The senator noted that similar measures were effective during the pandemic and previous calamities, emphasizing the need for support as the crisis continues.
