Netflix announced on Thursday that the acclaimed historical film “Gomburza” will be available for streaming on its platform starting April 9.
The news was shared through Netflix Philippines’ social media channels. Starring Cedrick Juan, Enchong Dee, and Dante Rivero, “Gomburza” gained significant recognition at the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal last year.
It secured several awards including 2nd Best Picture, Best Actor for Cedrick Juan, and Best Director for Pepe Diokno.
Additionally, the film won accolades for Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Sound, and the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award. Fans of Filipino cinema can anticipate the film’s debut on the popular streaming platform next month.
