GO CALLS FOR UNIFIED ACTION ON DISASTER PREVENTION AND PREPAREDNESS

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go emphasized the need to intensify disaster prevention measures in the Philippines during a recent address. 

Citing the country’s vulnerability to natural calamities, Go urged the government to invest in early warning systems, infrastructure resilience, and community preparedness. 

He highlighted the importance of prioritizing disaster risk reduction to save lives and minimize economic losses. 

Go also reiterated his support for laws aimed at improving the country’s disaster response capabilities and fostering collaboration among local government units. 

He called on all sectors to work together in creating a culture of preparedness and resilience.
