Barangay Ginebra looks to sweep Meralco in Game 2 of their PBA Commissioner’s Cup quarterfinal series on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
The Gin Kings, who won Game 1 with a 100-92 victory, aim to secure a semifinal berth but anticipate a strong fightback from the Bolts.
Meralco, still winless against Ginebra this season, hopes to avoid another sweep after being eliminated by the same team in the previous Governors’ Cup.
Meanwhile, Converge will also attempt to complete a sweep against Rain or Shine in their quarterfinal matchup at 7:30 p.m.
A win for the FiberXers would mark their first-ever semifinal appearance in franchise history.
