First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos praised the successful liver transplants performed on 200 Filipino children at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in India.
She said the procedures gave the children a renewed chance to grow, dream, and enjoy their childhood.
Araneta-Marcos expressed gratitude to Prof. Anupam Sibal and the Apollo medical team for treating Filipino children with complex liver diseases.
She said the milestone brought hope to hundreds of Filipino families.
The First Lady also highlighted the importance of the gift of life and the children’s second chance to live.
