Fernandez, who is striding on grass courts, will face defending champion Madison Keys next.

The other women’s semifinal will feature Jasmine Paolini against Daria Kasatkina, following Paolini’s victory over Katie Boulter and Kasatkina’s win against Emma Raducanu.

In the men’s quarterfinals, local wild card Billy Harris will face Australian qualifier Max Purcell, and Aleksandar Vukic will play top-seeded Taylor Fritz.
