FALCONS AP BREN CAPTAIN ATTRIBUTES MPL PH LONGEVITY TO PASSION

Falcons AP Bren captain Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel made history as the first player to reach 500 games in the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines during the last match of the regular season.

Arcangel began his career in 2018 with Digital Devils Pro and quickly rose to prominence, winning his first MPL title with Cignal Ultra in 2019.

After joining BREN Esports in 2020, he secured a second MPL title and helped the Philippines achieve its first world championship at the M2 World Championship.

Despite facing challenges in subsequent seasons, Arcangel and BREN Esports regained their form, culminating in another championship and an M5 World Championship victory.

Arcangel attributes his longevity in esports to his passion for the game and the trust of his teammates and coaches, stating he will continue to play as long as they believe in him.

The team will enter the upcoming MPL playoffs with an upper bracket advantage, beginning October 16.
