EMMA MALABUYO QUALIFIES FOR OLYMPICS AFTER ALL-AROUND BRONZE AT ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Emma Malabuyo secured her spot in the Olympics by clinching the bronze medal in the individual all-around event at the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 

Despite missing out on qualifying through the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series, Malabuyo’s determination paid off as she earned a total score of 50.398 points, becoming the fourth Filipino gymnast to qualify for the Paris Games. 

She will join Carlos Yulo, Aleah Finnegan, and Levi Jung-Ruivivar as representatives of the Philippines in gymnastics at the Olympics.
