‘EAT BULAGA’ COMMEMORATES 45 YEARS OF AIDING FLOOD-STRICKEN FAMILIES

During the live telecast of Eat Bulaga’s 45th anniversary on July 30, hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon addressed why there was no large venue celebration this year.

Vic Sotto explained that, unlike previous grand events, they chose to use the budget to aid victims of Typhoon Carina rather than hold a big stage show.

The program allocated resources to deliver relief goods and support families affected by the storm, as well as to enhance the livelihood of struggling families.

Additionally, they announced expanded scholarship grants through their “EBest Scholars” program and showcased testimonials from past beneficiaries.

The show also launched its ‘Five Years to Five Decades’ countdown towards its 50th anniversary in 2030, earning praise from netizens for its community-focused efforts.
