The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) anticipates a strengthening of business partnerships between the Philippines and the United States with the upcoming high-level trade and investment mission.
Scheduled for March 11-12, the mission will see a delegation of 22 business representatives, led by US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, engaging in discussions with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual.
The goal is to enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries, building commercially meaningful partnerships.
The United States ranks among the Philippines’ top three trading partners alongside Japan and China.
The visit follows President Marcos Jr.’s trip to the US last year and reflects both nations’ commitment to boosting commercial ties. Raimondo is set to meet with the Private Sector Advisory Council and Philippine business organizations during her visit.
