DPWH TO PRESENT FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT LIST TO PRESIDENT MARCOS NEXT WEEK

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will submit next week a comprehensive list of completed and ongoing flood control projects since 2022 to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Secretary Manuel Bonoan said they are consolidating data from various regional and district offices, including projects from previous administrations.

The list will categorize projects based on their effectiveness, identifying those that still function and those needing rehabilitation.

Since July 2022, the Marcos administration has completed nearly 10,000 flood control projects nationwide.

This submission follows President Marcos’ directive during his recent State of the Nation Address to ensure transparency and eliminate corruption in flood control infrastructure.
