Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. will represent the Philippines at the 22nd IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore from May 30 to June 1.
He will be joined by senior officials from the DND and the Armed Forces of the Philippines for bilateral and multilateral meetings with counterparts from other countries.
These talks aim to address regional and global security challenges while enhancing defense cooperation.
Teodoro’s participation reaffirms the Philippines’ commitment to a rules-based international order and peace in the Indo-Pacific, following President Marcos Jr.’s keynote address at last year’s forum.
The Shangri-La Dialogue gathers defense leaders and experts to discuss critical security issues and promote strategic partnerships.
