The 2025 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival builds anticipation as Filipino films from its inaugural 2024 edition make waves internationally.
Award-winning entries, including “Under a Piaya Moon,” “A Lab Story,” and “Text FIND DAD and Send to 2366,” have been featured at prestigious festivals in Morocco, Spain, Singapore, and Brunei.
Puregold Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad credited the festival for providing opportunities that showcase Filipino talent on the global stage.
Festival Director Chris Cahilig expressed optimism about the 2025 edition, aiming to surpass the success of its debut year.
The upcoming festival will run from March 14 to 25, 2025, featuring eight finalists and 25 student shorts, supported by generous production grants.
