College of Saint Benilde head coach Charles Tiu expressed frustration after his team narrowly defeated San Sebastian College-Recoletos, calling the performance “embarrassing.”
The Blazers won 96-94 in overtime, but Tiu pointed out their 31 turnovers, with 21 occurring in the second half, compared to San Sebastian’s 13.
“This is probably the worst win of my life,” Tiu stated, emphasizing his disappointment with the team’s lack of discipline.
Despite holding a 26-point lead at one point, the Golden Stags mounted a strong comeback, tying the game late in the fourth quarter.
The Blazers, now 6-1, will face Arellano on October 4, while San Sebastian remains on a six-game losing streak, falling to 2-6.
