Kathryn Bernardo triumphed as Best Actress for her role in “A Very Good Girl” at the FAMAS Awards 2024, held at the Manila Hotel’s Fiesta Pavilion. Competing against esteemed actresses like Maricel Soriano and Charlie Dizon, Bernardo claimed the prestigious trophy during Sunday night’s ceremony.
The Best Actor category saw a tie between Alfred Vargas for “Pieta” and Piolo Pascual for “Mallari,” with notable contenders including Dingdong Dantes and Alden Richards.
Supporting roles were recognized with Gloria Diaz and LA Santos earning Best Supporting Actress and Actor titles.
The event also celebrated young talent, with Euwenn Mikaell and Elia Ilano honored as Best Child Actor and Actress, respectively, while “Mallari” clinched the Best Picture award under Louie Ignacio’s direction.
