Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan has announced his intention to run for mayor again in the 2025 elections.
He made the declaration during an event at the Caloocan Sports Complex, attended by notable figures including Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos and Senator Imee Marcos.
Malapitan expressed gratitude to his constituents for their trust and support throughout his public service career, emphasizing the fulfillment of his promises during his first term.
He stated, “I will guarantee that my promises and platforms will be fulfilled and benefit Batang Kankaloo today,” highlighting the impact of his administration’s “Action and Care” initiative.
Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV also declared his candidacy for the Caloocan mayoralty last month, joining the race for the upcoming polls.
