K-pop superstars BTS made their highly anticipated comeback with “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang,” held at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square, which was also live-streamed globally on Netflix.
The concert celebrated the release of their new album Arirang, which sold nearly 4 million copies on its first day and marked their first major comeback in almost four years following military service.
The performance blended traditional Korean elements with modern production, featuring 12 songs from the album alongside hits like “Butter,” “Dynamite,” and “MIC Drop,” and drew an estimated 104,000 spectators in Seoul.
Directed by Hamish Hamilton, the show highlighted BTS’s cultural identity while offering a cinematic experience for fans worldwide, reinforcing the group’s global influence.
Following the concert, a documentary titled BTS: The Return will premiere on Netflix, and the group will embark on a 34-region, 82-show world tour spanning 2026 to 2027.
