First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos received a special distinction award from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (La Cámara) during La Fiesta 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Manila on March 18.
The event brought together leaders from Spain and the Philippines to strengthen economic, cultural, and business ties under the theme “Connecting Regions & Building Futures.”
In a social media post, the First Lady expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two nations.
La Fiesta 2026 also served as a milestone reflecting the progress of stakeholders in advancing Spanish-Filipino relations.
Established in 1889, La Cámara continues to promote trade, engagement, and partnership between the Philippines, Spain, and their business communities.
