BONG GO DENIES ICC ALLEGATIONS, SAYS ACTIONS FOLLOWED THE LAW

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has denied allegations in a redacted ICC document that named him as an alleged co-perpetrator, calling them unfounded and beyond the scope of his past government roles.

He clarified that his previous duties, including as Special Assistant to former President Rodrigo Duterte and Executive Assistant to the Davao City Mayor, were administrative and clerical, with no involvement in police or operational matters.

Go emphasized that he never received or followed any illegal orders and that his work has always been guided by lawful conduct and moral responsibility.

He maintained that the accusations will not distract him from his duties as a senator and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the poor and vulnerable.

Go concluded that his focus remains on public service, advancing programs and policies to benefit Filipinos while upholding integrity and transparency.
