BONG GO CLEARS NAME AMID DRUG WATCHLIST RUMORS

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) clarified that Senator Bong Go is not on any drug watchlist, debunking circulating rumors linking him to illegal drug activities. 

PDEA spokesperson Derrick Carreon emphasized that there is no evidence or basis to include the senator in such a list. 

Go, a close ally of former President Rodrigo Duterte dismissed the allegations as politically motivated and reiterated his commitment to supporting the government’s anti-drug campaign. 

The agency urged the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading baseless claims. This statement comes amid heightened political intrigue surrounding the country’s anti-drug efforts.
