Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III reaffirmed the PNP’s full support to the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in its fight against smuggling, corruption, and threats to national security.
During the BOC’s flag-raising ceremony, Torre committed to sustained intelligence sharing and joint operations, calling for unity and integrity among government agencies.
He emphasized that public trust can only be regained through uncompromising values and collective action.
Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno welcomed the PNP’s support, stressing that reform and good governance remain top priorities aligned with President Marcos’ directives.
Nepomuceno reiterated the need for a united front to combat irregularities within the bureau.
