Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced his bid for a second term, with his regional party, One Muntinlupa (1Munti), unveiling its 2025 election slate.
The party’s vice mayoral candidate is Allen Fresnedi Ampaya, Poblacion barangay captain and president of the city’s Association of Barangay Chairpersons.
Incumbent Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac has yet to announce his candidacy for a local post, while Rep. Jaime Fresnedi will seek re-election to represent Muntinlupa’s lone congressional district.
1Munti has also named its candidates for the city council, with separate slates for the two legislative districts.
The filing of certificates of candidacy begins in two months.
