Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte is among 15 semi-finalists for the prestigious Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo Award, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced.
The CSC is inviting the public to submit feedback on the semi-finalists until July 21 to help select the final winners in September.
CSC Chairperson Marilyn Yap emphasized that public comments, whether positive or negative, are crucial in choosing nominees who best represent outstanding government service.
The Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo is the highest honor under the Gawad Lingkod Bayani awards, recognizing exceptional contributions with nationwide impact.
This award celebrates civil servants whose ideas or performance significantly benefit public interest and security.
