Ateneo Blue Eagles head coach Tab Baldwin has signed a three-year contract extension, expressing that staying with the team “feels like coming home without having left home.”
Despite uncertainty over his future last year, Baldwin said he is grateful for the opportunity to continue coaching at Ateneo, a Catholic university that emphasizes student-athlete values.
The 67-year-old coach aims to help develop not only skilled players but also well-rounded individuals, reflecting on his personal growth over the past decade.
Baldwin also acknowledged the youth and inexperience of his current roster, stressing the need for maturity and fast learning to compete for championships.
Following a close 86-83 win over FEU, Ateneo will look to build momentum as it faces the University of the East next Wednesday in UAAP Season 88.
