Almost all residents in Baguio City and Benguet experienced power outages starting early Sunday, likely due to strong winds that battered the area.
The outages affected Baguio and several Benguet towns, including La Trinidad, Atok, Bakun, Kabayan, Buguias and Kibungan.
BENECO said bad weather damaged nine feeders, five circuits and four circuit reclosers.
Crews are working to restore power while observing safety measures due to the continued poor weather.
Landslides and swollen waterways were also reported in parts of Benguet and Baguio.
