Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo dominated the 11th Senior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, winning four gold medals.
He excelled in the individual all-around, floor exercise, vault, and parallel bars events, marking his supremacy from May 16 to May 19.
Yulo’s performance included his first-ever gold in the individual all-around with 84.931 points and a three-peat in floor exercise, vault, and parallel bars.
He outperformed Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi and other competitors in several events, securing his place as a top contender for the Paris Olympics.
Yulo’s younger brother, Karl Eldrew, also shone by winning gold in the junior division vault event.
