Olaivar denied the accusations and pledged full cooperation with any investigations, stepping aside to avoid distracting the agency.
The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee is investigating alleged anomalies in DPWH flood control projects involving several officials.
Angara emphasized that DepEd’s mission to provide quality education continues uninterrupted amid the controversy.
Meanwhile, DepEd is pushing forward with reforms and increased funding to address classroom shortages and improve the Senior High School curriculum.
