ACTRESS RUFA MAE QUINTO ALERTS THE PUBLIC ABOUT SCAMMERS POSING AS HER FOR BAIL MONEY

Rufa Mae Quinto warned her fans about scammers using her name to solicit money under pretenses.

The actress shared a conversation on her Instagram Stories where a scammer, pretending to be her, asked for a loan, claiming to be crying and unable to take a call.

Quinto urged her followers to be cautious, emphasizing that she was not requesting money from anyone.

She also reminded her audience that she is facing legal issues, including 14 counts of violating the Securities Regulation Code related to her endorsement of Dermacare, a company allegedly linked to an investment scam.

Quinto, who recently returned to the Philippines and posted bail, maintains her innocence and claims she is also a victim in the situation.
