Former child actor Jiro Manio will not return to acting due to health reasons, as advised by his doctor.
Despite fans’ hopes for his comeback in ABS-CBN’s “Batang Quiapo,” Manio, who is still recovering from a drug-related problem, needs to avoid stress and intense roles.
Currently living in Rizal Province, he keeps busy with social media and is in between jobs.
Additionally, efforts by comedienne Ai Ai de las Alas to reunite Manio with his estranged father in Japan have been unsuccessful.
