VILLADOS NAMED SPIKERS’ TURF PLAYER OF THE WEEK AFTER LEADING CRISS CROSS’ HOT START

Adrian Villados has been named Spikers’ Turf Player of the Week after leading the Criss Cross King Crunchers to a strong 3-0 start in the 2025 Invitational Conference.

The Arellano University standout displayed stellar playmaking, recording 22 excellent sets against PGJC-Navy, 20 against VNS Griffins, and a remarkable 34 against nine-time champion Cignal.

Filling in for injured lead setter Ish Polvorosa, Villados credited his success to his veteran teammates and coaches for helping him manage the pressure.

He bested fellow contenders, including Jude Garcia, Louie Ramirez, and Josh Ybañez, for the weekly honor covering October 27 to November 2.

Criss Cross looks to extend its winning streak when it faces Savouge on Wednesday at Paco Arena.
