Valenzuela City officials inaugurated three new low-rise buildings in Barangay Arkong Bato over the weekend, providing permanent housing for fire victims and families living in danger zones.
Mayor Weslie Gatchalian and Joeben Tai led the opening of Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the Disiplina Village, totaling 336 housing units across seven four-story buildings.
The ceremony was attended by key national and local officials, including Jose Ramon Aliling and Senators Sherwin and Rexlon Gatchalian, who handed certificates to beneficiaries.
The housing project, part of the city’s fourth in-city relocation initiative, aims to provide safe, accessible, and sustainable homes while eventually expanding to 20 buildings with 960 units.
Mayor Gatchalian emphasized that the project reflects Valenzuela’s vision of livable communities and aligns with national efforts to deliver safe and dignified housing for all residents.
