UKRAINE LOOKS TO EXPAND DRONE MANUFACTURING WITH PH PARTNERSHIP

Ukrainian Ambassador to the Philippines Yuliia Fediv announced plans to co-produce drones with the Philippines as part of a growing defense partnership between the two countries.

She emphasized that the collaboration could begin after a defense agreement is signed, with hopes for finalization by October 2025.

Fediv noted that Ukraine is developing various drone models and is eager to share its knowledge and technology with the Philippines.

She also mentioned that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the agreement has already been sent to the Department of National Defense, awaiting approval.

Additionally, Ukraine expressed interest in collaborating on information technology, combating disinformation, and enhancing cybersecurity with the Philippines.
